The Metaphorical Gospel Theory
This article carefully examines a popular view of scholars such as Marcus Borg, Bishop John Shelby Spong, and John Dominic Crossan regarding the meaning and intent of the gospels (hence, the "metaphorical gospel" theory). I conclude that these views are simply wrong, and provably so. I welcome discussion. My points concerning Spong's "literalization theory" are ably raised and elaborated by Mark Allan Powell in the current (v1.2) volume of the Journal for the Study of the Historical Jesus.Apologetics Resume' - Draft
I am interested in pursuing a university teaching position in Philosophy or Apologetics, or as teaching pastor at a church, specializing in apologetics.Structured Stories with Eyewitness Control

Over time, I've responded to emails from friends with various questions about Jesus. I wrote my answers as web pages and kept them around. Sometimes I was able to re-use them. These are my general opinions about these issues, and not as fully researched as the MG Theory article, but still I think they are a good starting point for discussion.
